The Bulin 47 AI Trend: Origin, Meme & Timeline
Bulin 47 is a Dominican dembow artist whose off-the-cuff freestyle outside a Spanish restaurant with Kevin Wai exploded past 50 million views. The "Bulin 47 AI" trend is people using AI to drop their own photo — or a friend's — into that exact freestyle moment, keeping the original beat and movement.
How it started
Bulin 47, a Dominican dembow artist, started freestyling outside a Spanish restaurant. Kevin Wai filmed and joined in. The raw, unscripted energy made the clip spread across TikTok and X.
As the view count climbed past 50 million, fans began recreating the moment — first by lip-syncing, then by using AI to put their own faces into the scene.
Why it went viral
The combination of an infectious dembow beat, a genuinely funny unscripted moment, and a short vertical format made it perfect for remixing. The "put yourself in it" format is what turned a viral clip into a repeatable trend.
